Running out of time and not getting cards....

Post by CreepyUncleAndy »

Game 204621, I thought I was playing with adjacent fortifications (which would end my turn after fortifying), but that was the other game. Basically, I was distracted. Then I got into a conversation at teh cafe for over an hour, and this caused me to "run out of time" in that game (even though I was happy and done with all my moves), forfeiting my taking a card for taking a territory. I think this is mildly unfair; after all, I did take several territories that round. ARGH!

That stinks, but you jsut have to deal with it and move on. Next time you should finish your turn and then talk to your friend.

Was the conversation in the Cafe worth it? Did you get a number? If you did, I think you can take a hit on not getting a card. ;)

:( No, I was talking to some dude, but he's a contractor and I'm looking for work, so I got a business card, but, MAN, Italians can just talk and talk and talk and talk....but then again, so can my girlfriend.

Well, so far, my team-mate's computer crashed, I missed a couple turns, and now I got screwed out of a card (I was looking at maybe a set next turn, but flat rate).

Despite all of these trials and tribulations, I shall rise up and avenge my eliminated team-mate, winning the game. It shall be my second win on Conquer Club ever. :?

Second win? No wonder you keep throwing out wild ideas! Are you thinking that with more options, your odds of winning are increased? ;)

Of course! The more options I have, the more laterally I can move! I am the type of soldier who thinks outside the box.
