With the "Rescue Tournament" part in the Updated Handbook it should be possible to take over the specific tournament just before it is Abandoned

The only thing you have to do after that is say that you are the winner

So what would the reasons for not getting the medal be, when the final is won.

The only thing it now takes is Tang Kai to say I won

Tournament moved to Completed. Ryall55 declared the winner (that means you get the medal).
