It's possible, but it is completely irrelevant as there is no set rule that politician is scum as it is a role that can be both town as well as scum. It is more important for us to try to find scum than to determine who has what role.

NoI am not the ??? in question, although if I couldvote I would vote him because he isn't making much since to me. I believe that the double-voter would be townie and the politician could be mafia or townie. It's just the way he said it that made me a bit suspicous.

I mean, he is as good of person to randomly lynch as anyone, and a lynch with some under developed reasoning behind it is as good as a completely random one information wise.
