New map-number five

I'm going to try to make a map using open office-drawing.
Do u think i can do it? Post yes or no.
Wish me luck plz.
I don't have an image yet just an idea.

I see no reason why you couldn't make some sort of map with the OpenOffice.org Drawing tool, provided you remember that ultimately, you have to produce a PNG, GIF, or JPEG file, as these are the only formats that the XML currently supports. I haven't used that tool enough for artistic endeavours to say whether you will be able to produce a map that will please the Foundry and the community, what with everyone wanting textures and bevels and shading (oh my). Good luck!

By the way, do you want to give the readers a hint about your idea? I certainly don't want to discourage you, but it can be even more discouraging to put in a lot of work, and then find that your idea takes off like a lead balloon, either because it's copyrighted, or it (or something a lot like it) has already been done or rejected, or whatever...
