Gameplay wise, this is fairly simple. The planetary regions will provide normal bonuses (just that I havn't assigned values yet) whilst the space regions give +2 for each two space regions of the same colour held. I'd quite like to see all of those space regions with a neutral drop of 2 on each for the start of the game. There is space in the lower left-hand area for the legend to sit.
I post this in its current state so I can hear suggestions for the gameplay before I get too stuck into the development.

I count 67 regions at the moment.

Nice start! :D

Some random thoughts:
  • Add some names, temporary names are good and you can change them later. (1/2/3 or A/B/C) ;)
  • what is the black line around lands?
  • The planet is a bit pixxelous, for example on the right side, next to the orange triangle
  • I don't see problem if space territories start neutral (game will start with 44 territories). Maybe the problem is that some zones don't have an easy access to space regions like others. (pink , light blue)
  • it's possible to remove the lower connection from light blue to pink and add a link between light blue and gray? pink will be more holdable and the map will have a link to jump from one side to another without moving in circle.
  • Why not red, violet and gray space zones?
  • Add something (text?) to create a theme for the map, a story...
  • Bonuses:
    • pink 2/3
    • red 4/5
    • yellow 5
    • green 3/4
    • gray 5/6
    • orange 3
    • violet 3/4
    • light blue 3/4
  • The space regions give +2 only in pairs? the pink for example will gain or +2 or +4 or +6, but not +3 and +5?

Keep it on!

Yeah, defo needs a theme / story / setting - something that explains what the space territories are?

When I look at those coloured triangles, I somehow think about trivial pursuit...

[Moved]

This map has been moved into the Ideas subforum, as it does not meet the criteria for a Working Draft:
Drafting Room Guidelines

To be considered a Working Draft a project must be more than just an idea; a Draft should have a clear thematic focus, a plan for how the gameplay will work, and a basic image which should include:
  • 1. Territory Labels - temporary names or numbers will suffice, and are always open to change.
    2. Borders/Paths/Impassables - it should be made clear where territories do/do not connect.
    3. Bonus Areas - where combinations/groups of territories will award a bonus, this should be indicated on the map.
    4. Legend - speculative bonus values and explanations of any attack rules or gameplay features.
Draft images should not be larger than 630x600px (small image) or 840x800px (large image).
