You do realize that this thread is a discussion, it's not based around creating maps or actual foundry activity?jbrettlip wrote:I would get rid of maps after a period of time, say 2 years. Also I would try to start threads like this in the FOUNDRY FORUM, where they belong.
Poison Rome and Forbidden City are terrible maps. I only play them when they come up in a tourney or random.Night Strike wrote:You do realize that this thread is a discussion, it's not based around creating maps or actual foundry activity?jbrettlip wrote:I would get rid of maps after a period of time, say 2 years. On topic: Poison Rome, Forbidden City, and WWII Europe are horrible (both graphically and gameplay). Land and Sea and Operation Drug War seem tacky to me, but I can live with it. And those aren't even including a bunch of the maps that I hate to play (AoR, Bamboo, Waterloo).
I'll stop you there. I would remove them for personal reasons!AndyDurfense wrote:Would you be removing them for personal/clan reasons ("I/we never win on Bamboo Jack")?

I disagree. I do well on this map. I don't use BOB, and I love this map.Georgerx7di wrote: -Ardennes, I enjoy playing this map, but lets be honest, it basically gives an advantage to people who have bob; to the point where you can't play the map without it.
My second-favorite map. I love how the "regions" are so scattered combined with the simple huge-ness of the map.Georgerx7di wrote:-supermax, world, boa, come on, what a waste of time. More territories, more time, less enjoyment. Sorry fitz, not going to agree with you here.
I'd get rid of the following...mibi wrote:Why remove any maps?
The issue is not the number of pickles we have... it's the size of the jar.

Only sorta. And you did misspell "original".Georgerx7di wrote:-Some of the USA road maps, yes they are somewhat orignial, but I don't know that we need that many. (Is this a proper sentence incan?)

Is there any point to this question Mr Monkey or is it idle curiosity?AndyDufresne wrote:Similar to scipioafricanus1's "What would happen if City Mogul went away?"...
If you were given the power to revamp the map list that Conquer Club currently offers, what maps would you remove from Conquer Club, and why?

- Would you be removing them for "the good of website" (what the heck does that event mean?)?
- Would you be removing them for personal/clan reasons ("I/we never win on Bamboo Jack")?
- Are they all similarly themed, either graphically or mechanically ("I can't stand the look of the USA Map pack" or "I dislike the Age of Realms series game play...")?
- Other reasons?
Is it really the map's fault, or the lack of setting limitations or a lack of player integrity?Bruceswar wrote:If I was to remove any maps, it would be maps are abused by farmers, such as city mogul. Past that all maps are OK.
i think it is more fun with farmingjpcloet wrote:Is it really the map's fault, or the lack of setting limitations or a lack of player integrity?Bruceswar wrote:If I was to remove any maps, it would be maps are abused by farmers, such as city mogul. Past that all maps are OK.
Medal hunting. Notice that silver ass medal?angola wrote:bruce - why are you a Lieutenant now?
300 maps that is to many for my brain to hold onto i think i can only rember 200 maps at a timejpcloet wrote:Let's add the classifications of non-geographical as well.
What happens when there are 200 maps, what about 300? Think ahead and plan for that.

Whats the point of a medal if you derank in the process of getting it? Only losers derank when medal hunting.slowreactor wrote:Medal hunting. Notice that silver ass medal?angola wrote:bruce - why are you a Lieutenant now?
