... Tonight's Law & Order episode was subtle, a girl OD'd. The cop finds the pill bottle, it's Oxycotton, very clearly shown for a good 2 seconds, in large letters.
... Anybody who pays attention knows what/who that was aimed at.
... Then the CSI episode had a bit of an anti-gun rant thing going on. Laurence Fishburne's character hesitated rather long before accepting a gun to go in pursuit of the bad guy. He said, "The first recorded shot of an explosive projectile was in Japan, 4th century. It was a small hand cannon designed specifically to take life. 16 centuries later and look how far we've come" (shaking head in disgust).
... Well, Japan, in the 4th century, was a barbarous place with no such technology. Also, the first use of gunpowder to fire projectiles was in China, centuries later. But I digress.
... That bit on "How I Met Your Mother", dude got sick in Canada, got treatment. He says "They forgot to charge me".
... CSI Miami and the cast hanging out in the "Community Garden" during the final scene, completely unrelated to the episode.
... Give me a break. I hear enough of this shite through the day already.
