i would like to take this opportunity to declare just how damn stupid i am... apparently i can't tell the difference between iReland and iCeland anymore. ie: the new artic map, if you fort on the wrong one, they are all trapped.
please note: this is not an official complaint or anything of the sort in regards to map, i just felt that i needed to admit to everyone the exact degree of my retardation.

Or you aren't too bright. You seemed to favor that choice as do I. J/K. Everyone makes mistakes. I lost on world 2.0 because I thought Irkutsk could attack Korea. I think they fixed that though, made it more distinctive.
This would seem to be a good place to register my annoyance at the existence of a country called 'caguyan' and one called 'cayagan' on the Philippines map. Plus they're on opposite sides of the map. One of the few misdrops I've ever made, and most certainly the most annoying. Argh.
this wouldn't normally be a problem except for the rampant, uncontrolled lack-of-intelligence that plagues this entire site
(or at least this humble user [kind of a wide, sweeping generalization, i know <but that still doesn't change the fact that it happens, and it's a user-based error {so im not quite sure how to remedy it |other than perhaps a return to grade school|}>])

Fear not, everyone makes mistakes. I was doing a nice march on the Africa map and attacking Lesotho from South Africa...instead of moving zero additional armies I mistakingly moved all armies. I had a bunch just sitting on Lesotho unable to attack anything=End of turn...
personally i think the ireland / iceland one is the worst, because they are right next to each other, as well as having one letter difference...Kahn and i lost a game because of it...among other reasons
In a triples game once an ally sent some guys from quebec or somewhere to an ally in greenland asking him to send them to scadenavia (sp?) (on the classic map)
