That's what I've been doing but somebody told me that "No Rating" screws thier rank. That doesn't sound right.
I think it has to be "no rating" but I want to be sure.
You have to give someone a numerical ranking in a category for it to enter into their average. If you only rank 2 out of 3 categories numerically the denominator is 2 rather than 3.
Usually if they don't chat I rank 4, if they do I rank 5. That way it doesn't screw with their rating if they don't, but they get the extra star for being friendly.
I think I'll stick to no rating. The instructions say Attitude is determined by chat, so: no chat no ranking. As was explained to me a no ranking doesn't really hurt anyone.

That's kind of adorable. There would be a whole lotta people banned here if rating were mandatory
