Wow, there's a whole lot wrong with that post.
So I've thought about it, and I think it would be better to withhold the identity of the confirmed townie for now. This is for two reasons:
1) To not give scum a target to take out before endgame (confirmed townies are important in endgame!)
2) To make myself a target. This way, if we have a doc there's a pretty good chance he'll protect me. If not, scum might still not attack me on the chance of a doc protect. So I have a pretty good shot at surviving, and possibly even getting a scum kill blocked on me.
But I want to advocate STRONGLY AGAINST taking any vig shots until you need to, unless you are damn sure someone is scum. Just because we probably have a few townies deaths before we're in trouble doesn't mean we should allow them to happen. And besides, if are a townie and waste your shot, not only do we lose an extra townie but also your vig kill. We need to save those for if we need them. We can't give them scum any advantages if we reach endgame.
