2/3 is west but majority of people are east... that caltex logo looks old so not likely in metro cities. Just food for thought... Also I think coast line from left corner...could be sand dunes...That or its salt planes. Unsure.

I haven't been able to figure it out. Usually what I do is right-click on his location on the map, and choose the "what's here" menu item, which will give you the coordinates of that location. I use that coordinate pair to determine east/west, north/south.

Street view doesn't really have much to the east of Esperance. It's all outback. So this pretty much splits it in half. I'm betting he is west of Albany, which will then give us a 200km x 400km area.
If he isn't west of Albany, he's between Albany and Esperance, and given that there's so little street view area there, it's even less ground to cover.

Un seconded. 128 degrees east is at Mundrabilla, which is only 40 miles from the Western Australia border. That eliminates basically nothing but a sliver of outback. There is zero street view in that sliver.
