It's not worth the effort. The site is GOD-AWFUL slow, game-creators always go first (and everyone else in the order of sign-up)...the whole site is really not done very well.

Escalating / Flat rate only (flat rate is 4 armies every time)
Adjacent forts only
Every time you attack, you have to advance what you attacked with (so I pretty much advance 3 every time)
No neutrals either...

Buuuttt.... I still feel like trying to recruit them.

Strangely enough I'm nippersean on that site.
It's really total bollocks compared to CC for many reasons.

Database (or whatever) so slow reaction, board sweep took me 2 hrs once. Sometimes it just double attacks, I had -1 on a ter once.
The resign button ruins most games and is a complete nightmare.
One missed turn = forfeit (tho I quite like this)
Like you say game starter goes first.

The best thing they do is offer 1 free speed game / day for 1 week for new recruits.
All the maps are crap except classic (not sure how they manage that one)

Six player esc classic is playable, but I've never finished one without an elimination for missed turn / resign.

Tagging our names in an obvious manner is not good. Once they are on to us, it will be too easy for them to ferret us out. Also since this is n open forum, they can also read this. A new user group is in order I think.
