Actually, many conservatives feel that FDR had nothing to do with it. It's pretty depressing, honestly.

If Biden had said anything about the economy those of you defending him would have a leg to stand on (but only one since Govt spending does not work as well as tax cuts). Unfortunately he didn't, he was speaking about the US government going bankrupt and saying more spending was the way to fix that...

And this comes from Mr.Economics himself. Seriously, tax cuts DO NOT have this magical majestical influence on the economy which solves everything and produces rainbows. They help, but only if complimented with a huge array of other measures. The main reason that the economy picked up so quick was Govt spending (stimulus/cash for clunkers etc..) as proven by the number of other countries who did not give tax cuts but produced a stimulus and recovered quickly from the downturn. Oh, and the US govt is going bankrupt? Thats bs, look at the public debt of nations like Italy and Japan, they are not bankrupt in any shape or form.

FDR was not evil, he was one of your graetest presidents and the fact that you cannot recognise that or credit him with his great achievements means you are just a complete ideologue and lack any critical thinking.
