If it is possible I think you will avoid some 'multi-players' giving to the new players a different game zone and lower-ranking them, for example 500 points (not 1000) and each game they finish (not being kicked with 3 missing round) till 10 games give them 50 extra points.
In this way most people will be "cook" with 5 games and they will be more or less the same than now, when 10 games experienced...
