We have a rowdy bunch of lawbreakers ready to load the nines and all we need is a bank to heist, a racket to run, or.... a clan challenge to take on. We are 4 and 2, but second to none when it comes to loving the game and hijacking high stakes games. We've got aces up our sleeves, daggers in our boots and seven loaded six shooters ready to roll out on the craps table, so if you're looking to bring a little life into your clan. If you're looking to teach a bunch of scurvy dogs some decent manners. If you are willing to wash out unclean mouths and dig dried blood out from under yellowed finger-nails, bring your clan forward and let us know.
Outlaws & Highwaymen is seeking clan challenges, preferably in the 50 to 60 game range. No freestyle. No speed. Doubles, triples, and quads, on any maps. No other silly rules here.
I do find it kind of weird that several of you are using Roland in your avvy and/or sig, when he was neither Outlaw nor Highwayman, but in fact a Gunslinger of the line of Eld.

I gave up on Stephen King a while back. So consider it poetic license.
Well, the dark tower books certainly didn't have that same "oomph" after the accident as they did before (personally, nothing pisses me off more than when a writer writes himself into his books... it's not meta, it's annoying bullshit), but still, have some respect for the fictional character. He did wipe out every man, woman, and child in the village of Tull, after all.

The original, unmettled with first book "The gunslinger" was the best. He should have let it die there. Trippy, violent western Zen. Fucking awesome.

The first time I read that I was literally out of breath trying to keep up.......
“One of God's own prototypes.....never even considered for mass production.
Too weird to live, and too rare to die.”

Dunno if he should have let it die there (I loved Waste Lands, prolly my favorite of the series), but when he went back and retconned the first book he basically ruined it.

O&H is trying to set up some clan challenges for the first part of 2010. Please contact me if your clan is interested. Our current proposal is:
50 games.
20 quads
20 trips
10 doubles
No freestyle, no manual deployment, no beta maps. We are open to random games, and will negotiate this point. We are not interested in 1 v 1 games for the challenge.
I've had a couple of tentative "maybes" but no one take us up yet. Let's get it on!
I doubt we're interested in any singles at all. Let us finish up with G1, and see how heavy the workload with the Conqueror's Cup is going to be. I've talked a little to RJ about it too. Sorry to sound so noncommittal but we have a lot of oranges in the air all of a sudden.
