What kind of underwear do professional soccer players wear? Is there a specific type of underwear that is required in professional soccer? Does it have a name? I'm asking because a person at work said there is no uniformity in soccer and their uniforms are a good example - they don't even have to wear underwear.

what is "soccer". if you a referring to what is commonly known around the world as Football then there is no underwear requirements.
