Umm, these people claim that they are not in the empire and that they are third party. So what is stopping us from lynching them? The chance that we may still find someone in the rebellion?

Who? the imperial citizens? Well, they are pretty much town with the rebel's recruiter dead, so yeah, pretty much the same reasons you don't lynch a townie. why do you put it like that? It sounds scummy, like you're someone outside of town.

I think we're getting our terms mixed up here. I read "imperial citizen" to mean a vanilla townie. What duday's point here, is that people claim 3rd party means that they are not town aligned. I don't think he's saying that we should lynch imperial citizens because they are town aligned.

You are correct, we would not have to. However, some have interpreted what he said to mean that he is a rebel and therefor must be lynched.

Obviously it's better to find mafia members but that doesn't really mean 3rd party are to be left alone. I believe Vodean's role was 3rd party however he had the ability to kill which makes him dangerous. Probably not likely that their will be a second 3rd party role with that ability but that ability is not the only one that can prove dangerous to us.

Obviously it's better to find mafia members but that doesn't really mean 3rd party are to be left alone. I believe Vodean's role was 3rd party however he had the ability to kill which makes him dangerous. I agree. If our options are to kill a third party or not kill anyone at all, well, the choice is clear, isn't it?

To me the choice is quite clear, the lesser of three evils. It may even not be an evil, as he could be lying, or he could be like vodean, who was a third party with a night kill.

It does suck when you are about to be lynched and when you know you shouldn't be. But with the deadline closing in, I think this is the town's best move? Does everyone agree?

I think what was found was that he was third party. It is better than lynching a townie, and third part in a game with a confusing set-up like this one is an easy fake claim.

on a routine patrol a storm trooper group looks into a casino to make sure everything is okay. the storm trooper peering inside recognizes a furry form as a suspected rebellion member he gives a cry then a bolt hits the troopers helmet killing the private instantly. the troopers killer runs out trying to escape the troopers in the group open fire downing the figure. as the lead storm trooper examines the prone form he informs the rest, its chewbacca.

pvt. stroker imperial storm trooper has been modkilled
mandomike69 chewbacca, rebel has been modkilled
it is now night 2 send in your night actions, i plan on having day 3 start tuesday or wednesday

Also, color coding people's roles (like red for mafia, green for town, blue for third party) would really make this much less confusing.
