Oh Pedro Pedro Pedro.......

You are comparing apples and oranges my friend. As I stated previously, I love ALL forms of racing...I do not discriminate ;o)

You must DETEST drag racing....yet flinging my streetbike down the local dragstrip (in a straight, boring line) is the biggest thrill I have EVER had, and I was licensed in skydiving, donr the bungee, etc etc. Trying to hang on to an uncontollable beast for 10 seconds without dying is pretty damn cool.......and I love regular drags too, from mom's pinto to top fuel.....thanks for asking ;o)

Now go change a diapee! Your kid needs you!! :D

ps - you dudes want to compare racing STYLES and laud the benefits of your favorites, I suggest you make a sep thread for just such a purpose.......SCHWING!

I don't watch alot of NASCAR, but will probably watch more this season because of Danica Patrick crossing over from Indy cars. She is a hell of a driver, and it should make for an interesting season. I've gotta say, though, that my favorite type of roundy-round racing was dirt-track motorcycle racing in the 60s-70s. Remember Bultacos, Nortons, Triumphs, BSAs? That was racing!

She'll probably get me watching more as well. Not to mention she'll probably stimulate the spare parts industry :D

Went religiously to flat track up in Castle Rock during the 70's - 80's....LOVE that sound, oh yeah ;o)

And I owned a freaking early 70's Bultaco 250 - twitchy as hell, kick on the wrong damn side....had about a 16"rear sprocket on the thing and chains on the back - good for one thing only and absolutely screamed at it (when it ran)......my nemesis was a hill called the Hard side of Back to Back in the coast range Tillamook Burn....ever go there Paps? Hellofa thing....lol

Back to Ms Patrick
