Once that's been done, please could you post the latest images and XML as [url] links. Cheers

Yep, just waiting on Gilligan to get the XML updated.MrBenn wrote:If you've moved army circles, you'll need to update the XML too.

It will stay at 4 because look at how many territories it borders. It may have 4 territories but it has 7 territories that border it, thus making it hard to hold. All the bonuses will stay as they are unless the majority says they are too high.jman10012 wrote:I like the idea a lot. But i do think you should lower the bonus troops you get from territories. Like the Republicans get 4 troops for only 4 territories. I think it should be 2. Just lower the bonus troops by 1 or 2 for most of the territories.

Oooops, I think you forgot to include the links for the images!Gilligan wrote:XML with new Long Island and New Jersey coordinates:

Thank you! I am happy to hear that it might your favorite map. As far as Ohio goes, it looks okay to me but if others feel the same way then yes I can lighten it up a bit.taco_man1 wrote:Love this map (just had to say that) might be my favorite.
Would it be possible to lighten Ohio further? During a game it is still dark enough due to all the borders that it can be misinterpreted to belong to the bonus to the left.

Thank you, I'm glad that you are enjoying this map!shidarin wrote:I'm really liking the map, and having a blast playing it in quads. Only concern I have is that I don't see anyway in hell of the capitals bonus coming into play in quads or triples- 7 is already half the map. Seems like that would only be a viable bonus in FFAs with 5 or less, or doubles.
Even then, the way that the bonus is structured seems like it would lend itself to an exponential tipping point.
But here it is in final forge, so better minds than I have probably thought on it.
Hopefully very soon!!Gilligan wrote:Been 2 weeks no comment, unbeta
I'd be grateful if you (or your representative) could oblige, and also notify in this thread once it's doneWhile the map is nearing the end of the Beta phase, the mapmaker(s) will be asked to populate the Map Portal Database.

It's done and hopefully it's done correctly.MrBenn wrote:I've been meaning to request this for some time, but I have just added the following text to the guidelines for the Forge:I'd be grateful if you (or your representative) could oblige, and also notify in this thread once it's doneWhile the map is nearing the end of the Beta phase, the mapmaker(s) will be asked to populate the Map Portal Database.
