An i-phone application is definitely something we are interested in to grow Conquer Club. It is on our slate for 2010, and it looks to be more towards the middle of 2010 and less towards the end of it!
hit me up, I have some connections with business's that make apps for Iphones.
12:17:31 ‹Pixar› im gonna be fappin to that all night long
10:59:12 ‹rhp 1› holy hell... that did it.. I pissed myself

Our slate -> Lack's todo-list, Or is someone else involved? And is there an idea about how to do it (I only own an ipod touch btw, so it would be of limited use to me. But I made a simple application for it once, hence the interest).

I think this is a great idea(owner of a iPod Touch) right now i take my turns when i cant get on my Computer on my iPod and it sucks through Safari. Not only would this benefit existing CC players but tons of people would find CC through the app store. Also you could make a option to buy Premium though the app store for people who don't have credit cards hence increasing your profit!:D . I know I'd use this app!
I was browsing the app store and I decided to type in conquerclub. I was very excited we finally had an app. I then looked at the price 1.99$! I don't have the app but I am assuming that's just to play your games. We need one that features the whole site. It would be really cool if we had the start menu featuring all the major options like my games, join a game, create a game, tournaments, forums, and other. Next off I think it wouldreally be cool if the app would be free but .99$ would be a good price too. I hope you consider my idea because I don't think anyone is going to buy this app if they have common sense.
I didn't know CC had an app, but how can you say how poor it is without even trying it? You saw the price was a whopping $2 and decided it couldn't be any good without even looking at it. You don't even know what it does! I think it would be really great to have an app for CC that does all that you've mentioned it should, but how do you know the one listed there doesn't already do that?

from what I've heard, all it does is show you what games you're in. To actually play your turns, you click on the link in the app and it automatically switches you over to the browser, so the app doesn't really do much, just a turn-watcher.

I don't know if that's the only thing it does because I haven't tried the app but from looking at the screen shots I am assuming that is the only thing it does.
I don't know for sure if the app was actually written by CC, therefore I'm not sure the money you would be paying for the app is actually going to CC. Someone may have just written it to use the RSS feed data and making money off people thinking it's going to the actual site.
iPod apps appear grainy and are not nearly as good for iPad. iPad has a lot of features that are not in the iPod that would make it better than the current iPod one.

So any plans for an iPhone app? I know u got that other one that tells you when your turn is (overpriced at $1.99), but how about one that u can actually take your turns with??? You'll make a few thousand of your players very happy!!!
Hmm, what would you expect from an app? I've tried to think about it, but the easiest part is someone telling you when it's your turn. The harder part is showing the map detailed enough for people to understand, having the stats nearby somehow, and probably zooming in when clicking on a part of the map, after which you can move left/right through sweeps and make turns like clickable maps, by pressing the numbers.
That would be amazing, but quite hard to do too (and you already have a browser with most of those possibilities, making CM work on it would be a challenge though). And I'd guess Hasbro would start to investigate CC a bit more if it really became popular..
