Southeast Asian Islands

I've always thought that Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, and other surrounding islands of the Southeast Asian geographic area would make for a good map. It is a rather under utilized area for cartographic pursuits I think, and I'd like to see a map of the area someday!

Would this be a standard gameplay map, or do you have something specific in mind wrt. gameplay?

The area does seem intrguing though. I might be willing to do graphics for the map if someone is willing to come up with a gameplay design.

I use to work all over those islands and mainland. There is a TON of history there with a LOT of ancient and modern battles. I belie magellan even died in a pretty nice scaled battle someone on the east side of your map. I look forward to playing this one.

That would be pretty complex. I think standard gameplay with some history sprinkled in would make for a nice map. Good idea Andy.
