Stop spamming!

Post by laughingcavalier »

Will tourney organizers stop bcc-ing invites to long lists of random players, please!? Will the tourney directors tell TOs not to do this? I'm happy to get updates from TOs if I've played in their tourneys before or similar ones to what they are running. But it's crazy to spam everyone from the currently online list. Stop!

I've had 3 in the last week - is it because there's a new feature to see all users online? Not interested in a witch-hunt against individuals who did it, but do want to keep cc spam free. I get enough spam everywhere else thanks.

Sounds like a very reasonable request to me.

From the rules:
It's up to you to block individuals who annoy you via PM, but in severe cases such as excessive spamming, flaming, or trolling, you can open a complaint in the Cheating & Abuse Forum.

I've found that a polite but firm PM reply works wonders.
