Another England?

Post by MrBenn »

I've been wondering about my England map... I'm really happy with the graphics, but I'm not overly excited by how the gameplay has turned out. Part of me wants to try and do something different with it, but I don't know whether it would be too much to radically alter it, or whether it would be better to start over with a different idea. :-k

Back in 2008, Telvannia and Balsiefen (I think it was the latter, know it was the former) had a Dark Age Britain map going. Looked BAMF, but got abandoned.

I routinely get my ass kicked on that map... could be luck, could be gameplay. But I would support another England map.

And if that doesn't work out, perhaps the exploits of Oliver Cromwell would make a good setting, although that might be better for a British Isles map.

Perhaps William the Conqueror?
