I've actually never seen the film, but going from the shots, was pretty sure it was a Bergman film.

No other director from lucyl's top10 is old enough to have made black and white movies.

Lynch had Elephant Man, though that was 1980.

Polanaski really should be on my top ten list, I've just never slid anything he did in there.

And besides which I've never seen Igoasklucyl's top 10 list (I know, where have I been all this time?!), so there!
