I think if you use high neutrals on the planets to make it would make it harder to take the planets through the worm holes, star gates or whatever you use. Then again you don't have to use the "star gates' to get from planet to planet. You can use them to get from one spot to another, like from point A in space to point B in space or Point A in space to a planet. Do something like that and it would make it a little more interesting .Thomassaurus wrote:It would be to hard to hold a planet if you could stargate planet to planet.
I don't like the idea of wormhols, and it would kind of loose the point of high neutrals.

Now that's not the right attitude... If you let other people do the work for you, you'll never learn.Thomassaurus wrote:Industrial Helix wrote:Wouldn't space stations work better than "meteor rocks"?
Thats a good idea. I can't do that type of graphics though, so I'd need someone to do the space stations for me.

Get a proper graphics software.Thomassaurus wrote:I don't even think the program I'm using can do it. I'll try it some.
Any volunteers would be great.

That will probably be years.

Oops, i'll fix that.b00kw0rm wrote:Minor quibble...
You spelled "lose" as "loose"
Other than that it looks pretty cool.
I'll try one of those, thanks. Why? GIMP and Paint.Net are free and can be loaded from the internet.
I'm using flash MX, but only for the sun, & instructions. everything else is done with another program to stick all the images together.I need to know what graphics software you're using.
I'm doing this but it looks pixelated around the edges of some of the objects because I have to change the backgrounds of each object.Start with large, quality images and shrink them down.
I have to agree, especially because Foundry regulations explicitly state you cannot make a map with Paint, you must use some image software of actual capability, most of which Helix has been so kind to note to you.Industrial Helix wrote:Get GIMP, paint.net or somehow get a copy of photoshop, the last of which I prefer. I'm sure they do some free trials, or you could borrow a friends or something.
I'm not using paint.TaCktiX wrote:I have to agree, especially because Foundry regulations explicitly state you cannot make a map with Paint, you must use some image software of actual capability, most of which Helix has been so kind to note to you.Industrial Helix wrote:Get GIMP, paint.net or somehow get a copy of photoshop, the last of which I prefer. Ok. are paint.net or gimp good enough, or I can use photoshop if you strongly suggest it.Industrial Helix wrote:Get GIMP, paint.net or somehow get a copy of photoshop, the last of which I prefer. I'm sure they do some free trials, or you could borrow a friends or something.
