I don't really remember what the reasons for all my bans were. I got kicked of the site entirely once for posting under someone else's account in a private forum, someone paid for my premium so I could get back.

Other then that it was mostly trolling by means of creating dozens of threads in flame wars, flaming and trolling and things I don't really remember.

There was a time when Pimpdave, myself, and I forget who.... we were on at 9 AM spamming the OT forums with a bunch of dumb threads that all related to each other. We were having a good time.
An hour or so later Clapper came along and locked the threads.
If I remember correctly, GT logged in and rallied most of the OT regulars against moderating. Their stance was that OT doesn't need any mods, and that our threads shouldn't have been locked because we were just having fun. Pimpdave and I tried to knock some sense into the mob, but to no avail. We were done with the threads anyway....
So the mob started an anti-moderating petition, and got a lot of signatures (really).... they called out clapper, and wanted the rest of the mods gone as well. Naturally I struck out to defend clapper's moderating skills.... I started a bunch of threads with the same title here in OT, but with stupid stuff inside. Clapper locked my threads and gave me a ban. As Jones said 'they were spam, but not really." I dunno how much impact I personally had, but the petition died soon after that.

When she banned me, clapper said "I'm really sorry that I have to do this but you've left me no choice!" Of course, you ask her about it today and she doesn't even remember.

My second ban was for a flame fight in GD.

My third was for "trolling" in a spam thread in GD.

the reason they gave me for the month was trolling/baiting! it was one post not directed at anyone in a thread about britain raising it's terror alert!! i appealed and would love to share the reply i got with you but i'd get 6 months.

I really find it hard to take what people say on the internet seriously. Of course, some do have good points and an enlightening conversation can follow, but when insults are thrown around, it doesn't matter. Take it in stride and bring it to the next level for MORE FUN--be diplomatic while doing so, or ignore it and carry on.

All of my bans I have deserved and have celebrated the opportunity they have provided me for introspection and reflection. The Valued Mods know what they're doing, gang.

  Also, I received a 30-day ban after requesting a 2-week ban. (I knew I had a busy fortnight coming up and couldn't be tempted by the CC mistress so had requested the block.)
  
  I received another ban (http://www.conquerclub.com/forum/viewto ... n#p2194931) after filing a complaint about a 4-way game I was involved in during which three of the players were speaking Portuguese in violation of the English-only rules. Regrettably, the mods looked into it more closely than I'd anticipated and discovered I was one of the three players speaking Portuguese.

I can't recall what the rest were for but I've been banned quite a bit. Each case deservedly so.
