....anyway. If you are seriously pursuing this... these are the major problems you need to overcome:

1) the subject seems very close to the Fractured America map. You would have to make a significantly different map. Either in gameplay (hard, because you are representing the same area) or theme (again hard, because the theme is so similar).

2) there are umpty-zillion north america/USA -maps in C.C. already. North America, USA, FNNA, USApocalypse, F.A.... so your map needs to stand out from all of them, and offer something that none of those maps have. This is no small task...

So good luck with that.

WELL I THINK this is a brilliant idea for a map, since this is what Obama is doing anyways, CHANGING America against the majority vote! Why would he NOT change the names of every state, he would do it even if most people didn't want to... OBAMA LAND! YES! I will be following!

I would kind of like a map in the same vein as the world according to Reagan or the World According to dubya. It seems that democratic presidents don't really have worldmaps though.

D'y'know, that's what I was thinking. Like the U.S.-Mexico border would be a dotted line or the eastern seaboard could be labeled "Atlantic Ocean (soon)". And New England wold be renamed "New EU."

Treading the line of making another fractured America though. It would need some more and a year's worth o presidency kind of makes it difficult. I wonder about the Reagan maps though and what their copyright entails. I wonder if a cheap knock off of "the world according to the US of A" might be a suitable substitute.

Evil thought of the day: You should redraw the state boundaries so that there are fifty .... seven states. (Plus the District of Columbia which can bombard any of the 57 states.) The map of the USA should be relatively small and sourrounded by all the countries that currently hate the United States.
