I am not reprimanding. I was quoting the CC rule book regarding flames (i.e. they aren't allowed). I have no other powers or abilities (other than telekinesis)... therefore, carry on.

Partly, but mostly no. I think DM was great, I thought Prowler was decent. Kotaro & Ronaldinho before my time. AD sure did try hard. But my memory's shot, all I can remember of other people are the likes of Hulmey and Timmytutt, whose retorts more resembled someone flailing in an inch and a half of water than actual coherent insults.

You forgot to add the legend of Hendy too AKA "is a cunt"...

And for the record, "before your time" was the period when flame wars was actually inspired posting. DM was always good, but towards the end of flame wars there wasnt really any intelligent posting worth noting, so what you saw from his wasnt the quality of #1, though his older posts put him there. I never posted alot there, but was always a good read to watch the newcomers try to test their skin and get chased out with their tail between their legs. TBH, i think it would be a disservice to the memory of Flame Wars to bring it back now with the amount of Sally's we have running around C&A complaining about ratings abuse, its just not the same environment it used to be.

I'm still scratching my head as to how I didn't make this list. I'm almost hurt that you forgot about me jefjef (even after posting that ridiculous C&A thread against me). Not even and honorable mention. I can produce references. I'm sure King Achilles will vouch for me.

f*ck it. I nominate jefjef and Snowgun as a packaged deal. Those 2 deserve each other and can be found going at it like a couple of ferrel cats in the C&A forum. I'd say they deserve slot number 8 and spot 6 on the high end. And where the f*ck is chaosfactor?

prowler was always my favourite, just for entertainment value. watching a grown man breakdown over things said on the net was a fascinating insight into how weak and sensitive people can be.

anarkistdream was also good for a laugh. the self-professed king of spelling soon got lost when somebody put a few correctly spelled words together though.

mustard, suggs, norse, bk barunt, herpes were all good flamers. nobody else is worth a mention and are the reason flame wars became boring, eventually leading to it's demise. well perhaps the_lion, 99.5% of his posts were complete rubbish but he did come out with a couple of decent flames.
