That there are such maps is no reason to make any more of such maps. The number of territories is just fine. There are maps that are played with 1vs1 settings that the first attacker takes 1 territory and player 2's bonus goes down by 1

I think making a few more start neutral is a good idea.natty_dread wrote:I'd say either add territories or make some neutral.

I like this tisha, I like it a lot. Keep the bonuses small, don't let any boneheads talk you into adding more territs to the bonuses. Remember, anything bonus with more than 4 or 5 territs is basically out of play in most games. (Except for that standard, seq. no spoils crap). I like the way the map is.jTisha wrote:get me outta gameplay guys![]()
Meso-America made to two..
any more advice?
Can't do it without Tisha addressing the territory number issue. The same problem came up in beta for North America, too; we can't just leave this map the way it is.Industrial Helix wrote:Stamp it already. The bonuses seem solid to me.

48 territories is not good for 4 player games. Everyone starting with 12 territories gives too big an advantage to whoever goes first...Bruceswar wrote:Who cares if the map is 40, 41, 42, or 50... it will likely play nice... I seen much worse come out of the foundry...

I disagree. Those kind of dead ends bring lots of strategy into escalating games, you have to plan your eliminations much more carefully when you have to consider how many troops you need to split, and how many you can afford to split... If they are not overused, they add to the gameplay IMO.the sort of dead end that forces you to split your forces if you're passing through; I generally see them as an annoyance -
