Frosted Flakes...no picture necessary because IT'S GREEEEEEAT!

Hell yeah. Sugar rocks. No...not rocks of sugar...sugar that rocks. Yeah, that's it. GREEEEEEEAT!

I would pay good money for a box of Lucky Charms with twice the marshmallow concentration...

Of course, cereals are easy to discuss. "I like frosties" is so much easier than investigating why the banks have had to be bailed out with mine and your money.

Dumbed down? Maybe some of us realize that talking about international finance is fruitless, or don't really care/know enough to comment. I personally have been more directly affected by cereal-related events throughout my lifetime as opposed to investment banking...

You know you are waiting for the chip aisle in the end, and you'll hit mom with your second and final "Can we get this please please please mom I'll take the garbage out" But first comes the cereal aisle. It looks like it goes down for a mile, and for a moment, the colorful cereal boxes pop out like HD under the flourescent eco-friendly corporate lighting model. So many to choose from. I might have to walk all the way down and look at every box, just to make sure I'm not missing something really good, or perhaps had forgotten about another kind of cereal that I tried at a friend's house at 2am munchied out. Now it's time to go back and choose, between smores, reeses, frosted flakes, some kind of granola/almond/banana combo, and lucky charms. Oh what the hell, BUY ONE OF EACH!!!!! It's America!! ARG BWARG GRAWL GRAWL
I used to have a hard time deciding whether to get the Cheerios with the Batman watch, or the Cocoa Puffs with the Matchbox car. Wait a minute, what am I talking about, "used to"?

Talking about banks and financial issues arent gonna solve them. Why not make light of the things we have in life that satisfy our inner needs (cereal doesnt do that well but wth it tasts good :) ). I cant personally change the economy, or the system right now. If i tried hard enough im sure i could put a dent in it. Im a kid, i look for the brighter things in life. Examples: Gf's, food, Games, music, and sports. I know it might not seem easy to talk about anything, but its 10 times as hard to do something about it. We can talk all we want about how the rich are only getting richer or how the banks just keep screwing up. How are we gonna fix that though. Suggest all ya want in any situation, but greater result comes from doing.

I actually find that eating cereal and bitching about the jew bankers simultaneously does more good than just bitching about the jew bankers in general.

1. Corn Pops (though my "grown up" side rarely let's me indulge.. :( )
2. Crispex/Rice chex/Rice Crispies (more or less the same stuff).
3. Steelcut oats cooked with raisins, chopped nuts (anything but peanuts; particularly almonds and walnuts) and a dash of cinnamon and nutmeg
4. Teff, cooked firm.

My favorite used to be Cinnemon Toast Crunch...
But all that sugar every morning... just became disgusting after a year or two.
It seems to me, that, amidst this recession, all of the cereal companies have seriously cut back on the actual amount of substance they put in per individual piece of the cereal. -They puffed it up with air.
I've honestly noticed a general decline in my ability to taste these cereals the way I had been able to.
And they're not as filling anymore, either.
I doubt it's because I've grown older, because I still weigh the same as I did for about the last four or so years.
Has anyone else noticed this?

And, as of now, I think my favorite is Frosted Flakes. -They were always great, but with the recession, they seem to be the only cereal that has remained the same.

Edit:
1. Trix went back to spheres. (And each piece does not have an individual taste... I believe they did back in the day...)
Post what you have noticed!
Renewed yet infused with apathy.
Let's just have a good time, all right?
