I just looked, looks like they are called flows (floes ) when they break up into 6mile pieces... It was never about "have to" this was more about "it is a cool feature you could" add.Evil DIMwit wrote:I think you mean ice floes. They're kind of small, though, so I don't think you have to include them.

natty_dread wrote:No I mean design the gameplay for the map... you seem to have lots of ideas, and the point of this thread was to find someone to design the gameplay for an antarctic map, so I could just do the graphics...
Open ms paint... take some existing map of antarctic, doodle the borders & territory names on top of it, bonus areas etc.
If you don't want to or don't have the time I understand... Bison king already made one gp plan, but I thought it would be cool if I could get some competing designs and then choose the best

Antarctica: The Russian Roulette of Continents.
And as dumb as this sounds, I would play this game at least once, if not then multiple times.

Sounds like an idea from the Foundry Past---I recall a slot machine map.Industrial Helix wrote:Well, it should probably go in the no pile... but think about it. The ominous image of Antarctica, a list of 7 colonels and all you need to do is join to get their points... maybe.
Mainly, I'm just hoping to bypass that pesky 2 map limit by having someone else do the gameplay and put the map through the foundry on his nameAndyDufresne wrote: As for the map, if there is any difficulty figuring out the direction of the project, one could always do a futuristic Antarctica map, I see some fun potential for that...but I suppose it makes sense to get a vanilla Antarctica map first.
