Well, after the first batch, t'was thus:
inc/mepps 3-0
everyone else 1-2

Thus far in batch two, you and CoF are looking good to win 2, maybe 3. If you win all 3, you're probably into the finals. If Mepps and I can win just one of our games, we'll look good for the finals. If neither of those things happen, then there'll be some interesting tiebreaker situations.

The plot has most definitely thickened... right now john/mong look like they have the best chance to run the table for the batch, they've got strong leads in rail (vs. inc/mepps) and pelo (vs. pander/wolf) and look like a lock to win classic (vs. chariot/dako). Dako/chariot look strong in AoM vs. pander/wolf. Waterloo (inc/mepps vs. dako/chariot) and Gazala (inc/mepps vs. pander/wolf) are both pretty close.

Projected standings (waterloo and gazala excluded):
john/mong 4-3
inc/mepps 3-1
dako/chariot 2-3
pander/wolf 1-4

Looks like the final matchup is set: inc/mepps vs. john/mong.

EDIT: It's official. The only game left is Waterloo, and that won't affect the overall outcome. Congrats to Chariot/Dako and Pander/Wolf for their strong play throughout the tourney.

After talking it over me and fox decided to award all 3 games to the people who did show. Sadly a great tournament ended this way, but such is life? Well done to Incandenza and Mepps! Congrats on winning.

Damn shame it had to end this way, this is definitely one of the best tourneys I've played. Thanks to all the teams who joined and provided such fierce competition, and of course a BIG thanks to Bruce and Foxy for running the whole thing. Cheers!
