I've Seen Lots of mapmaking tools in the tutorials and guides with the old style numbers.
I couldn't pester someone in here to make a tutorial at all with the new numbers?
The new army numbers are in the Tahoma font, although I don't yet know what size is being used as default, and it may be subject to further change as lack tries to clear up some of the blurryness issues...

I've tried the Tahoma font on my graphics software and the numbers look totally different than the ones on CC. Perhaps it has something to do with font rendering, or maybe lack's tahoma font is different from my Tahoma?
I'd imagine it's the same font (which I believe he's embedded within the site to ensure it looks the same across all browsers), although I have no idea how squished it is (it looks like it's a tiny bit distorted). For now, I think it's best to watch and see what happens... You never know, the old font/army numbers could make a return one day

It doesn't really matter... army numbers on map images are only used for testing purposes - to ensure that the numbers fit into each territory, and that army circles are the right size, etc. Since the new army numbers are approximately the same size as the old ones there's no reason why you can't use the old numbers...
