Is there anyway we can try and come up with a mutual time for all team leaders so that we can try to expedite the draft overall.. At this pace we will not have complete teams for another 2 weeks if that..I think we are averaging 3 days for every few picks..

I'm eager to begin as well, but I see no feasible way to do a live draft. Dako is in russia, pimp is in australia, and COF is in Hong Kong. I know that I have a small window of when I'm available as well. Honestly, we could bang out 2 rounds a week if everyone got back to me immediately. I know some people are gone on weekends and others just forget. Others still want input from the people they have already drafted which takes longer yet. I guess the quickest way to finish would be for me to have you guys rank everyone that is left and put them in order. I can then just go on your rankings, but I figured you wanted more of a choice in who you got. Unlike in a ff draft, I feel like the last couple of rounds will be just as crucial, if not more so, than the first couple of rounds.

Basically, if everyone responds within 24 hours of getting a pm from me about a pick this will move along quickly.

Why not just set time limit to 24 hours then (just like there's a limit to joining games)? If you don't get a response in allotted time then you will just let random.org decide who the team gets?

Or just use their master list initially sent if an option is available..But I agree.. Its been quite some time and the rest of round 3 is yet to be complete... If you can check your games daily, then you can send a response daily... Not to mention, what will happen when game play starts and we will require a set of games...are we suppose to wait so long for actions to be taken

I think the point here is that AgentSmith is letting the team leaders discuss their choices with the other members of the team. I agree that I'd like it to be faster... maybe we go a full round instead of a half round at a time?

random is bad because it screws the players that get picked on that team. Sure it punishes the team captain, but the players should not get stuck on a crappy team just cause their leader is irresponsible

I can't believe this hasn't already been resolved - it's such an easy task. I've already submitted my 1-28 and I then stuck with it after the first two rounds of the draft. Being in Hong Kong has nothing to do with it - just get on with the next rounds until someone's list of 28 is exhausted. How difficult is that?

I would say give them 48 hours from now on to respond, otherwise give them the highest score remaining on the draft board (similar to the pre-draft rankings in Fantasy Sports). This way they still get one of the "best" in terms of score anyway so their teams is not penalized horribly, but they may not get the best in terms of chemistry.

But I would say wait to implement this until next round, as it was not stated at the beginning of the round and would be unfair to post new rules halfway through a process. No way AS could have seen it taking this long with people who agreed to the responsibilities of being a TL which he stated, so lets not put the blame on him.

I think that everyone is just so eager to play in this tourney i think it is the first of its kind.
so we should not be so hard on Agent S, and if the tourney has this much action before it even starts it should be one to remember.

updated. Many of the players in the latter half of the draft decided to just go with their list from the first round, so we are now almost halfway through round 4. I will have to give a 48 hour time limit from now on to speed things up. After that, I will just go off the first list you gave me. I don't have time right now to mess around figuring out who people should get if time runs out, so everyone please respond in a timely manner. I will send out pms tomorrow for the next part of the draft. If you have a list of players you would like or know who you want to draft next and are up, feel free to pm me at any time.

Everyone needs to settle down. I'm pretty sure that games won't be starting before the World Cup is done with anyways due to many people having vacation during this time. I'm planning on the 3rd or 4th week of July being the starting point for this tourney. It sucks, but people are busier during the summer (myself included).

He sent me the pm in plenty of time. I however was out of town for the weekend without internet access. This weekend being the 4th of July for us Americans means many of us (including myself) will be busy. I also have little time during the week at this point for anything CC so I'm not always timely about getting picks. However, like I posted earlier, I don't plan on the first games being played until the 3rd week of July at the earliest. I would like to get the draft done at least a week before that and I believe that's feasible.
