Fruitcake, one of the best teachers for long term strategy and grinding a game out that I know.

well i dont even know if all these people exist anymore but here goes..

KingOfGods-with so many things
Scott-land-freestyle speed games and other things
Comic Boy-escalating standard
likemee-general strategy
Steinmeister-terminator
[RFA]Juggalo-team games
many many others from the Regulators before the bomb went off.........
and so many more that have come and gone in my time here that I've appreciated and if you think you're one of them you're probably right.

I'd prolly say no matter who you are, if you've played with anyone in the first few pages of the site especially the first page-- then somewhere along the line, you've picked up some sort of strategy from those players, directly or indirectly. I know I've picked up a little here and there from everyone I've played with and against no matter their rank.... suppose the point is to simply observe your opponents to better understand how and why they play the way they do. And in a lot of cases-- what not to do. If it compliments your own playing style, then take those pieces and apply it and discard the rest.

Well, the OP didn't specify if this was supposed to be only about game-related helpers so I just listed people who have helped me all around CC.

Denvale, Darth Emperor, Manbungalow - each for playing doubles with me and helping me become an "adequate" doubles player

Thenobodies80, Samuelc812 - helped me become the foundry newsletter editor and taught me everything I know about running a newsletter section

The.Killing.44, Isaiah40, Industrial Helix, Redbaron0, MrBenn, ender516, Evil DIMwit, Iancanton, Peter Gibbons, Gilligan, Porkenbeans, Mibi and probably many more that I somehow forgot to mention (sorry) - for helping me with various foundry related stuff, eg. mapmaking

They are about the only high ranks that have been willing to team with me. I got in 1 dubs game with ManB, but not enough to learn enough from.

Most of what I have learned I have taught myself but it's players like blitz and scott, the big dogs, that I've tried to impersonate at times. The players I have learned from the most though has been the teammates I have encountered during my time here on CC. Players like BRADDY, PROFITS, TheProwler, Commander62890, and zips5000 team me with any of these players and odds are we gaining points. In fact put PROFITS, Commander62890, zips5000, and myself as a team on conquerman and even those mighty THOTA teams tremble. The players that have helped me? My teammates I say.
