You know, you could do a Japan map based on the same idea...

Standard gameplay indeed... the trouble with this and any other sports team based map is that there's a huge copyright infringement. Though I'm trying to think my way around it... we could always ask the MLB for their permission to use the team names...

OR we could just use the city names and perhaps rip off, though not identical, name fonts. If you use the identical logo you'll get sued, which is apparently what happened to Obama during his run for senate.

If you've worried about copyright, you can always use some generic, vaguely related, and/or conquer-themed stand-ins.

You could expand the territories bordering the unincorporated territory by asking people who live in certain areas what teams they root for. Specifically plabes like Idaho, Montana, the Dakotas, and Wyoming.

Ah, i can't take the credit for this map... I stole it from Nike or something. But another sport is an interesting idea...
