I tend to disagree with this comment. Ignorance implies a lack of knowledge, which to me means that there is a chance to learn.Tassidar wrote:Sigh, ignorance will be the downfall of the human race.
Which moderator did you talk to? I am just curious because I am the one who made the bust.Tassidar wrote:As for seeing if im a multi, I told the Moderator I play at work with many co-workers (who have recently been banned...)
If that was true don't you think you would have been busted already?Tassidar wrote:I think routine IP scans are a poor way to determine if someone is a multi.
How do you come to this conclusion? Many of the multi's we bust are free members who try to get around the limits on the number of games for one account.Tassidar wrote:Funny how Conquerclub.com Mods jump to the aid of paying members even if they lose horrendously.

It seems perfectly reasonable for someone to find it odd enough to report when your first seven games have all been on the Doodle Earth map. I don't believe that's a particularly likely scenario for someone brand new to the site.Tassidar wrote:Sigh, ignorance will be the downfall of the human race. He says I must be a multi because I am better than him even though he has been here for 2 years...I can't read the forums and understand strategy? I have seen people use this website, I have played the board game risk. Unlike the accuser, I am not ignorant and I have common sense (and a bachelor's degree) meriting me the ability to be good at strategy games...
The strategy used in the military has very little, if any, relevance to the strategy used on a Conquer Club game board.Tassidar wrote:Oh yeah, forgot to mention, I am formerly from the marines, RISK (and strategy for that matter...) is something im used to.
In the multi-hunters' defense, this does likely strike a particularly strident chord with them. They do have a continuing problem of banned users attempting to return to the site.Tassidar wrote:As for seeing if im a multi, I told the Moderator I play at work with many co-workers (who have recently been banned...).
Routine IP scans are hardly the only resource at our multi-hunters' hands.Tassidar wrote:I think routine IP scans are a poor way to determine if someone is a multi. Funny how Conquerclub.com Mods jump to the aid of paying members even if they lose horrendously.
I've gotta tell you...this sort of thing only leads me to believe you likely are someone who would have been previously banned. You're really not helping your cause out here, in my view.Tassidar wrote:*EDIT*: I am also not new to forums (avid D2JSP user). This user also proves his ignorance by stating he was mindlessly attacking after 7 games...sorry to break it to ya bud, but not everyone in this world has down syndrome...
Doodle Earth Strategy: http://www.conquerclub.com/forum/viewto ... 58&t=44627
Read this big guy, maybe you will learn something...
I was willing to believe you before, but this post just makes me want to scream "MULTI!!!" repeatedly until you're busted.Tassidar wrote:Believe what you want sir. The forums are here for a reason, sorry I am the first new member to actually use them...
The site rules say to use common sense...I am by reading rules/strats and playing on a smaller map of the classic RISK board...I would rather play 20+ doodle earth maps in one day than 4 classic maps in a week...

Don't know if im willing to pump money into a site if the community is like that member.lord voldemort wrote:hmmm you could just but premium
really unrelated though....
which mod did u tell you knew people?

Ok. I just assumed if you weren't in the game, you couldn't post in it...but yes he did post in the game and said he sent the multi request in.lord voldemort wrote:hmmm...well everyones name in chat is bold who isnt in the game.
even though masli is a moderator....but he is to do with clans not c&a
Don't get me wrong, I'm not sticking up for this guy... but you all do realize that you can read the forums without being logged into an account, right?b00060 wrote:HAHAH He joined at 8:31 this morning and began his first Doodle Earth game at 8:33. Thats not the most interesting part. He lost. The most interesting part, is the fact that in 2 minutes he could DL and install greasemonkey, clickies, and BOB, then also post and find an RT to do.b00060 wrote:HAHAH He joined at 8:31 this morning and began his first Doodle Earth game at 8:33. Not to mention beginning multiple games within the first 3 minutes he joined and winning them within 15 minutes.
Thank you for stating the obvious...I owe ya.Bones2484 wrote:Don't get me wrong, I'm not sticking up for this guy... but you all do realize that you can read the forums without being logged into an account, right?b00060 wrote:HAHAH He joined at 8:31 this morning and began his first Doodle Earth game at 8:33. Each of those rounds lasted 3-4 seconds...My current classic game has only gone 1 round so far and it's been what? 20 min already? And I don't know what "rt" is...dude, classic 1v1s usually end much quicker than doodle 1v1s. In doodle you never have the game wrapped up even if the opponent is down to 1 or 2 terts because usually you still only get 3 troops per round also. In classic, someone usually gains an advantage pretty much right away and it's over by round 12ish. You've already had an 11, 15, and 28 round game in 8 games. So the bs about "doodle is quicker" is wrong. What is quicker is rt, which is what you've been doing.
lmao, what did I say? "What matters is rt". It matters how quickly you start your turns, classic rounds are not that much slower if you both start them rightaway like you did in doodle.Tassidar wrote:Each of those rounds lasted 3-4 seconds...My current classic game has only gone 1 round so far and it's been what? 20 min already?dude, classic 1v1s usually end much quicker than doodle 1v1s. I have been navigating forums (like D2JSP) for a long time...it's really not that hard. You keep reassuring me that I am smarter than most people on this website...b00060 wrote:Actually he won the second game which was started 3 minutes after joining. I have my Masters degree and a 5 figure game history to pull from, and I fail to believe any of his defense. I don't know about anyone else, but the first dozen games here I played, I got my ass handed to me and took forever to navigate around the site and get comfortable. Military strategy? Get the hell out of here with that one. If your strategies are so great, why don't you play on a more sophisticated map that actually requires some decent strategy and not one that a third grader can develop a winning (See this map is all Luck) strategy if you are not a moron.
I don't even know where to begin....jrh_cardinal wrote:lmao, what did I say? "What matters is rt". and just to be sure, you're at work right? Since when are people in cubicles
a) old- "I've been playing Risk since before you were alive" - Tassidar
b) smart- "No one around here has common sense/strategy"
c) allowed to download stuff like firefox and ESPECIALLY greasemonkey
