Heh, thanks. But paint.net isn't that bad once you get to know it - sure it's a simpler software than GIMP but the upside is that it runs a lot smoother, at least on my computer. Some things may be a bit harder to do than on gimp or PS but so far I haven't come across anything that would be impossible...
I guess I'm just used to simple gfx software... I remember when the best available program for home users was Deluxe Paint - you had a whoppin' 256 colours, no layers, no alpha, the only "effects" were a few distortions and a primitive smudge tool... still, people managed to create some awesome shit with it.
