Should there be a page finder for the forums on ConquerClub?

* Suggestion Idea: A page finder so the it is easy to jump to any page in any thread on the forums

* Specifics:Many threads have tens of pages, some even reach into the hundreds. But if you want to find a page that is 30 pages back there is no way to quickly jump to it. you have to hit back page 30 times which is annoying and tiresome. my idea is that there should be a little page jump, like the forum jump one already in place. You could scroll down to whatever page you need in the thread and quickly you could be there. It probably wouldn't be very hard as we already have something very much like it and it would be very useful. (especially in mafia games where you sometimes want to quote incriminating things that are 20 or so pages back.)

* Why it is needed: To make life easier for all forum users

thats a great idea, this is especially great in the map foundry were sometimes the map update is 10 pages back.

Well, you'll have to talk with phpBB Forum software people. We don't do anything with the software, we just use what they give us.

One thing you can do, at the top you can sort of jump to pages by typing in what post you'd like to start the page with.

at mafiascum.net they use the same basic software as we do but they have a page finder. if they can put one in why can't we?
