Revolutionary War Tournament [Wnrs: ubcman64 & crbluth]

The tournament will be a doubles tourney played on the 13 Colonies Map. The settings will be auto, seq, no spoils, chained, and FoW. In each round you will play one game except in the championship game when it will be the best of 3. Sign up form will be as follows:

Umm, is this an elimination tourney? If so there might be a problem, 12 is not a power of 2. What I mean is after round 1 there would be 6 teams and after round 2 there would be 3 teams. Just wondering how that will work with 3 teams.

I think it's 2 divisions of 6 (which is not a power of two), britain and n. america, whoever advances frombritain plays winner of the n america pool, if I read that right.

Like shocked said above me, it will be split into 2 divisions of six, America on one side, Britan on the other. I should of mentioned that in first post.

One thing I am not understanding about this tourney--you have the bracket up already--you are also giving byes because you have 6 teams per side. This to me is an unfair tourney. If you are going to do it like this you need to at least use random.org or use rankings to create the seeds. How have you determined the seeding so far? That or move to 8 teams on each side.
