How about spoils above the map, chat below? In any team game chat is surely the most integral feature. This way the map is centralized and a whole screen can display either cards & map or map & chat - everybody wins.

Yeah me too.amazzony wrote:I agree with this 100%. I love the fact that I can see my spoils easily and without scrolling. Moving them down to a place that I almost never check would be really bad.MrBenn wrote:I would much rather keep my spoils listed under the map - I don;t want them to be squirrelled away where I can;t see them at a glance.

Many of us already have something like this, because BOB allows us to put "Chat on top". Maybe someday a major site overhaul will break the page in sections that we can place where we like. Heck, even having a tab feature would be nice, so you could choose what blob of data you want below the map: chat, spoils, statistics,... hmm, sounds like a separate Suggestion.Chariot of Fire wrote:Not knowing where Hong Kong is, tut tut. 100% agree
It is if one is a bit thick and can't read a map, or needs software to highlight things.Leehar wrote:Just a comment regarding all those using bob to highlight spoil spots on the map. You do know that clicking on the spoil will also give you a blinking highlight as well, don't you? So it's not really absolutely necessary to see both spoils and map at the same time...

That doesn't happen for me. Do you use Clickable Maps as well?Leehar wrote:Just a comment regarding all those using bob to highlight spoil spots on the map. I tried it both with and without BOB and did not get any blinking highlight. That feature would be nice if it worked for everyone.Leehar wrote:Just a comment regarding all those using bob to highlight spoil spots on the map. I actually strongly agree with this. I feel like CC is slowly moving towards being less of a strategy game, than a common mindless clicking game. First they added a territ counter and now this? Where does the line get drawn?Chariot of Fire wrote:
Next thing we know there will be a script that tells you what is the best move to play!

lol....I might be off my rocker, but I'm not in one just yet.pmchugh wrote:I see I am very much in the minority here but I still think something like dako's scrpit would be enough, this just makes things easier for teams that don't talk.

If teams already don't talk, I can't imagine this helping them *all* that much.pmchugh wrote:I see I am very much in the minority here but I still think something like dako's scrpit would be enough, this just makes things easier for teams that don't talk.
Actually, a friend of mine and I have been working on such a script.Chariot of Fire wrote: Next thing we know there will be a script that tells you what is the best move to play!
