Conquer Alternative High School (CAHS) {Draft Posted!}

The idea is to have a high school map. Granted, the concept is similar to CCU, but the layout would be completely different, as well as the gameplay. I already have made some sketches but have just to make an electronic version. Is this worth pursuing?

I think you should at least post an electronic version here before you make any decision about wether to go forward with it or completely stop. I've looked through the completed maps and there is a map that seems to be a college or university or something, but if the layout and gameplay is different then I don't see a problem in gong forward with it.

Alright, I got a rough sketch of the second floor:

Some notes:
1. The first floor will be much bigger, having various large rooms (like the gym/cafeteria/auditorium) and room numbers that go up to 154. The first floor will include English (red), Social Studies/History (yellow), Foreign language (pink), the arts (purple), technology (cyan), and the offices (white). I have yet to work on the first floor mainly to hear some feedback before I do too much.
2. Not sure what to do about the teachers exactly. I figured their rooms could attack them and they could each have an auto-deploy (the "a1" or whatever next to each teacher). I've "ranked" the teachers in the Teacher's Lounge, the colored teacher in each category being the head of their department. I still have to figure out a name for Mrs. So&So.
3. No clue what to do with brown rooms or grey rooms. Also I'm concerned about the empty space between some rooms, especially Room 220 and the Library.
4. I figure I'd break up the hallways into pieces and make them start-out-neutral territories.
5. The white quadrilaterals with lines thru them are stairs.
6. I figure you could only access a room from the hallway. In other words, Room 211 would not be able to attack Room 213.
7. I may move Chinese down to the first floor, if I have room lol.

The gym and the principal's office will be on the first floor, and I can resize the picture. I just thought it'd be best to start big, then size it down, rather than the other way around. So you like the idea, then?

Fantastic idea!
I love the idea of the hallways, I suggest putting 1 hallway territory in front of every 1 or 2 rooms. You could also add bonuses to the hallways, maybe +1 for every 3?

Edit: And will floors 1 and 2 just be right next to each other?

The hallway thing sounds good. And yea, I figure floors 1 + 2 will be next to each other just cuz of my graphical limitations. That may change if it gets further.

This map is looking good. I still really like the bus auto-deploy idea though. Do you think you could implement it?

Quite possibly, though I'm thinking I may be overloaded with territories, as the first floor will have a LOT of territories. I'll see what I can do

Btw, I realized I skipped Spec Ed Room 209
