Personally, I have never seen any American in the process of writing either word. I think we need to do an exhaustive study on the American population at large. Usually I say Islam or Muslim, but Moslem is still correct. And you might not have heard it, but I have seen it written that way many times by Muslims/Moslems themselves (and not in the way blacks might call each other "nigger", either). The first time I even heard that another spelling is preferred was a few months ago. Usually I try to stay with Muslim since that, just to be safe, but I forgot this time.saxitoxin wrote:
