I like this. I think the games should be balanced. If a clan can't support this game load then maybe they shouldn't be involved in CL3ljex wrote:I think it would be best 5-5-5 dubs-trips-quads. This way we get an odd number of games for each match-up and a even spread among dubs trips and quads.

josko.ri wrote: for example, let say a clan have 8 players who have fun in playing dubs and 8 players who have fun in playing quads. dubs players will then have chance to play only 1 game (8 slots home and away) that they like per round, and quads players will have chance to play 4 games (32 slots) that they like per round. as I think having fun is the most important part of playing (more important than winning) then players who enjoy in playing quads have 4 times more chance to have fun than the ones who enjoy in playing dubs. with 3-3-3 format that difference would become lower.
so with written above I wanted to show: if winning is more important than having fun then 4-3-2 format is better because win a quad is much harder than win dubs game.jpcloet wrote: Many top clans argued that doubles is less representative of skill than quads
if having fun is more important than winning then 3-3-3 would be better because allows more equal number of slots to players who like dubs than to ones who like quads.

the very same argument can be made for 4,3,2 what if a clan plays 95 percent quads and only has 1 dbl team? we all know most clans gear more to trips and quads than singles and doubles more skill and less luck!!josko.ri wrote:as this is topic for discussing about number of games per gametype, I will write here my opinion why I think that 3-3-3 format is much better than 4-3-2:

fine you compared EQUAL number of players liking dubs and the ones liking quadsjosko.ri wrote:I compared EQUAL number of player liking dubs and the ones liking quads, and proved that then the ones who like quads have chance to play 4 times more games per round. too much IMO.
you could also say that if 100% of players like quads then it s the best to play only quads. to get some reasonable results, you must compare equal number of players who like each gametypes.
I know quad is more skill that s why I said that if point is winning then more quads are better, and if point is having fun them 3-3-3 would be better.WPBRJ wrote: AGAIN most clans gear more to trips and quads than singles and doubles more skill and less luck!!
