As for Croatia, I don't want to argue with you about the name of your countrybut what about this:

it says the country was called "Kingdom of Croatia-Slavonia" during 1868-1918 which includes the time of this map.

Hold both termini + any 4 transsib stations (6 territories instead of the current 8 )?

Objective should be hard yes, but not so hard that people won't even bother trying to use it. IMO.
