We don't hold the copyright on what? ... Oh for a moment there I thought you said "sex."

You can blame Franklyn for that; he was always putting his inventions in the public domain. ;)

Sure, all the time. Then I go back to thinking about them. :D

Every day, when I drive to work, I drive on a parkway named after one of the signers of the Declaration of Independence.

It sure beats the hell out of thnking about the latest victim of Appretence.

Or why as hell the Yankees lost their last games against the Sox and had to settle for the wild card.

Or why Eli Manning will never be even 10% of what his brother Payton is.

Or anything to do with Glee.

I think this 'sex' business might really catch on. Unless old people start doing it too.

it isn't really offensive, it's just a bit vulgar. talking about sex is like chewing food with your mouth open.

The Death of Tzor

He could feel it coming for weeks. It was as if he had made a date long ago with an old lover of his, as if they had agreed that in this year, in this month, on a day that would come very soon, they had agreed to meet at a certain place and time. That day, the day of his death, rushed at him like a freight train, disturbing the serenity of his family life in retirement.

When it came, even the rest of his family knew it was time. They gathered around his bed, he held his wife's hand, and he gazed into her eyes. The world began to dim. Seconds before darkness enveloped him, he wondered if John Adams and Thomas Jefferson had died as blissfully as he was dying. "Phew, at least my last thought wasn't about pop culture, or the damn Yankees," he thought in relief. Then he died.
