For some reason, I picked up this habit where if I don't talk for a while for any reason (I'm doing homework or something and am by myself) I always get the feeling that I've lost the ability to speak, so I say something outloud, to myself, so make sure I didn't.

I have something similar. After a while of not talking, I find it hard to speak. If I don't clear my throat before trying to after a long break, then my voice comes out all weird and shit, almost like I was just going through puberty. It's odd.
