Game Type: Standard Initial Troops: Manual Play Order: Sequential Spoils: Escalating Reinforcements: Chained Fog of War: NoHmm, there were a few occurences of this before. What seemed to be the problem there was that Firefox found its file to save its preferences corrupted, and used a backup of that file (without the new snapshots). If you don't close firefox the normal way, there is a higher risk of this happening if I remember correctly.Commander62890 wrote:My snapshots get deleted. This has been happening for at least a week, now... probably more.
In total, I have taken about 20-30 snaps during that time; they are gone by the time I return to the game for my next turn.
Version 5.1.0 should fix it again, so it works in both modes.Leehar wrote:Ah thanks, map looks kinda empty now tho
allows you to save a "snapshot" of what a game looked like at that certain point.. something you can go back and looking at with a clickGromph wrote:what a snapshot do ??
Naah, I think I'll try to make the parsing/replacing a bit faster (and you're right, it could be very slow). I've just uploaded a new version, could you check if this is fast enough?Foxglove wrote:This new version makes games with a lot of chat unusable![]()
I load a game (with many, many lines of team chat) - and firefox freezes until I close it.
Can you please make the chat snapshot an option - so that we can turn off the line-by-line chat parsing? Thank you!!

Great, thank you! It works just fine now.sherkaner wrote:Naah, I think I'll try to make the parsing/replacing a bit faster (and you're right, it could be very slow). Ah.... yes, I think that will totally break my chatglove/chatsniffer script.sherkaner wrote: Btw, for your information: Lack is gonna limit the chat lines to 50 in an update, and there will be a button 'show full chat', same mechanism as with the log. Maybe that will influence your script too.
Night Strike wrote:Alright, here's what I'm meaning. Take an archived game like Game 7306752. When you first open the game (without clicking load full log), you get this:sherkaner wrote:Hmm, I just tried to check this, and I noticed the round numbers weren't updated correctly. But the elimination summary showed up for me. Do you have game numbers so I can check those?Night Strike wrote:Don't know if it has to do with your post, but I just noticed that now the elimination summary is no longer showing up when loading the full log of archived games. I've noticed it in a couple of tournament games where I'm trying to do point updates.ender516 wrote:I don't really know javascript, but I think the problem with the elimination summary after loading the full log could be fixed if, when the user clicks "[load full log]", BOB would call processLog() with the init flag set to true, so the data already processed would be dropped in favour of the reload. I'm just not sure how you know when this action should occur. After clicking load game log, you get this:Spoiler

Right, I forgot about this one. It's a bit complicated, but I'll have a look.Night Strike wrote:I'm wondering if this ever got addressed or if you were needing more information.

Not base64, A stands for 0, BA stands for 26 troops, c stands for 2nd player, ? stands for unknown player, unknown troops.Dako wrote:Reload the page. They are just a way to store the data from snapshot in chat line so each of your teammates can view it. Those are troop numbers and owner color coded in some way (base64?).
