I assume it is NV, due mainly to the size of the character pool. To have an unnamed character is something like this would be a grievous sin.

Vanilla townie does not have to equal a townie with no name.... it could still be a character with a name, but with abilities equal to that of a vanilla (as in no abilities whatsoever), right?

I think your right. Idk if that is considered a VT or not, but there should at least be a name, if no ability.

Yes of course, it's pretty clear all roles are characters from Tarantino movies. Vanilla townie only refers to the role with no particular powers, not the flavor.

Nice quick claim. I have never unsertood peopels reasoning as to force early claims. Instead of using your brain and trying to work it out as soon as you suspect someone you want a cliam...sigh

I hit about a ten quotes but then I saw Violet's post which saved me much ranting:

I'll just address a few major points:

1. Jester - as Nag pointed out, good mods rarely use them (excepting RT or other joke games). Also, if I were a Jester I would have tried to win with a little more finesse.

On the other hand, if you guys want to believe that I'm a Jester, go ahead, keep me alive. I'll understand.

2. Survivor - is my last favorite role in the universe (I love to sac my piece for a mating attack). Also, they tend to lay low. Also, since they are not a danger to Town or Scum *copy-pastes* go ahead, keep me alive. I'll understand.

As for my character, I thank AoG for putting things in perspective and thus saving me from having to rant for 2 pages:

That's what I was thinking about Mr. White, he wasn't the baddest bad ass in the history of Tarrantino films, Mr. Blonde in comparison was an evil son of a bitch and the mafia would have to be huge to accommodate all the Tarrantino criminals, like Ving Rhames (Marcellus 'does he look like a bitch' Wallace) from Pulp Fiction, Bill from Kill Bill etc. so there is every possibility that Mr. White could be a town role. That being said I still can't get the logic from where Mandy is going with his very odd and sudden role claim.

But I'm wondering if it's in general moral "who's good in the movie and who isn't" or "protagonists of the movie are town and antagonists are mafia".

Like, in Pulp Fiction, Jules Winnfield is a protagonist, but he's essentially "evil" if we were to think about what his job actually is.

Mr. White was a protagonist in Reservoir Dogs, but he was also "evil" in a sense (while Mr. Orange was "good" [undercover cop]).

And there are so many ultimate antagonists from all of the Tarintino flicks (Bill, Wallace, Hans Landa from Inglorious Basterds, Joe Cabot, etc.) that Mr. White just doesn't seem right for a mafia role.

Seriously people this game is based on:

Resevoir Dogs - 4 professional robbers, 1 psychopath, 2 mobsters and 1 undercover cop.

Pulp Fiction - law abiding citizens are limited to Bruce Willis' girlfriend (he kills 3 people, leaves the fourth to be tortured and skips town) and the people in the diner

Jackie Brown - haven't seen it, but unless the whole JLA appears I believe the criminals are still in majority

Kill Bill Vol 1 and 2 aka one professional killer vs five professional killers and their gangs (if available)

Death Proof just one bad guy, but unless 50 % of the characters are from Death Proof...

Inglourious Basterds ear-collectors vs Nazis.
