only issues ive seen is the spoils when i post shows double spoils

I use Color Codes.

When I click on my teammate's Snapshot in chat, it works fine. However, it always reverts backs to a map without Color Codes. When I then click, "Color Codes," I simply reverts back to a live map with Color Codes.

I would like to have a way to see my teammate's Snapshot with Color Codes. Thanks.

Don't post the spoils anymore :). This feature is part of CC now.

Oh, to my knowledge that still happens every time you take a snap in chat. You just need to reload the page to see the correct link

I am currently having both issues: I can not see the spoils unless I have that particular script installed and my teammates use it. Also when taking a chat snapshot it shows as snap:7sdfv7sa8dv7a9dfv8a9sdf8a9d8f8, etc. Reloading the page does not work to fix the issue. This issue only happened for me AFTER I updated BOB. Any help?

hmm, this might be interesting. What browser are you using?

And for the record: my intention was that a refresh is not needed for the snapshot to be clickable.

hmm, this might be interesting. What browser are you using?

Firefox 3.6.10

I just uninstalled ALL my CC scripts and am about to reinstall them all.

As far as I know spoils doesn't really have anything to do with bob (I assume you're talking about teammate spoils?) and since they were implemented as part of the recent site update, they no longer have anything to do with scripts at all (Just click 'show/hide spoils' next to your spoils, to see your teammates spoils beneath your spoils).
With regards to the snap I do understand how you see that weird letter/number combination in chat (for eg. '2010-10-17 22:03:24 - Leehar [team]: snap :: 2~DbDeDbFeBdBeDaDeDbDeDdDcDeDaDbDeDdDbDcDcDdCdDbDbCdDaBcEdBdEcBcBcFbDdCdBbCdEcBdFeBeBeBe')
but with reloading, for me it becomes: ('snapshot round 2' - tho it does keep that code in there, I think there just some display conversion that goes on.).

Would you like to maybe ask your teammates as to what they see? If they have bob but still see that weird jumble it will probably be more worrisome, but I don't think they should...

You are right about the spoils.

As for the snap in chat, it is now working, but I had to uninstall ALL my scripts for some reason for the bob-reinstall to show the snaps properly. It is working now.

Is this going to get fixed?

Snapshot in chat works fine, but it is totally useless.

If I try to see the snapshot with Color Codes, it reverts to live.

I cannot use any snapshots until this is fixed.

In cricket I'm being told that the opponent has an extra hidden region [2 / 3 (3%)-] when normal stats shows (correctly) that he only has [2]

The combination of fog and nuclear spoils means BOB will always have imperfect knowledge.

k, good to know, but can't it piggyback off normal stats? Since those seem to get it right...
Maybe just a check to ensure region count for bob is the same as normal stats

Yeah, snaps should automatically use the settings you provided for colour codes, but that wasn't working properly. Fixed.

I just took a snapshot and got the gobbledegook, but it does change back when revisting the game. However, it is still changing out of showing color codes and the only way to get it back is to go to the general game settings.

You're sure you had 5.1.2? I just noticed another small thing too, and fixed it btw (showing neutrals as unknowns for colour-coded non-fog maps).

I've been having issues with BOB's territory counts during fog games since the 5.1.0 upgrade. BOB will regularly show an incorrect calculated number of territories. This doesn't happen all of the time, but it is a frequent issue. If I reload the entire page, it fixes the count so that it reads properly. Refreshing the map does not fix the problem.

I'm currently using 5.1.1, but I don't expect that the problem has been fixed in 5.1.2 since it's not listed as being fixed.

Is anyone else having problems with this?

Snapshot in char parsing doesn't work in Ubutnu FIrefox 3.6

It always shows snap :: fdsfergfdg stuff.

I just started having this happen on just one of my computers - Both Bob and Clickable Maps show up twice on the left. Bob stats don't show up and the clickable maps doesn't work. I tried deleting both add-ins, and reinstalling, but that didn't work. Then I removed Greasemonkey entirely and reinstalled everything and that didn't work. Other suggestions?

i have found that in Hive the snapshot in chat doesn't work...it says its too long

255 characters, that's all I can put in a message. It should work until around 110 territories per map. Not sure how big world 2.1 is.

I don't know the mechanism being used for storing and accessing the snapshots in chat, but is there no way to split the information when it gets oversized and put it in two chat lines? You would likely need an indicator that the information was to be continued in a later post, and you might need a back reference as well, so that the user could click on any line of a multi-line snapshot and get the full picture.
